Delectus Seminum – Seed exchange list 2011We participate in the international non-commercial seed exchange programme of botanical institutions. Our Delectus Seminum (ISSN 0357-2641) is the list of seeds and spores available from our botanical garden in a specified year (or years). The list is published biennially and sent to more than 450 botanical gardens, arboreta, and related institutions all over the world. If you wish to be on our mailing list please contact the curator at . Researchers and institutions not currently on our mailing list have the possibility to request available seeds or spores by contacting the curator. We also welcome requests of material not listed in our Delectus, should you have reason to believe that we are able to provide the material you need. The eligibility of requests outside the established seed exchange programme is evaluated case by case.
We emphasize that anyone, institution or individual, who requests plant material from us should appreciate the endorsement of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (Rio de Janeiro, 1992) that the commercial use of plants is subject to the protection of adequate rights of the countries of origin. |
