Location

The Kaisaniemi garden is situated very close to the city centre. It can be reached either from the busy Unioninkatu street (Unioninkatu 44) or from the adjoining Kaisaniemenranta road (Kaisaniemenranta 2).

Public transport

Tram nos. 1, 1A, 3B, 5, 6, 7A, 7B and 9 all stop on or nearby Unioninkatu, as do numerous buses. The Hakaniemi and Kaisaniemi metro stations are also just a few minutes walk from the Unioninkatu entrance to the Garden. The distance from Helsinki central railway station to the Garden is about 600 metres.

Parking

There are parking spaces on the Garden side of the Kaisaniemenranta road. A separate parking area is located close to the Kaisaniemi restaurant at the junction of Kaisaniemenranta and Kaisaniementie. Parking in these areas requires a parking disc to be displayed.

The garden is situated near the Central Railway Station. There are two entrances at Unioninkatu street and Kaisaniemenranta road. Map: (cc) Openstreetmap.org
