Finnish Nature
Experience Finnish nature in an hour!
Travel from Helsinki to an outer
archipelago, continue to a broadleaf forest of southwestern
Finland, to the middle of spring. Proceed to a bog, clear lake of
Päijänne and an autumnal stubble
field. Move towards northeast, where you can find pine swamp, forest
landscape, and a river with threatened river
pearl mussels. Finally you end up to a wintery coniferous
forest and slopes of wild Saana fjeld.
Fjeld in winter. Golden Eagle (Aquila
chrysaetos),
Wolverine (Gulo gulo), Common Ravens (Corvus
corax) and Siberian Jay
(Perisoreus infaustus).

Wild Forest Reindeers (Rangifer tarandus fennicus)
in a wintery coniferous forest.
