Arabidopsis suecica (Fr.) Norrlin var.: habit and habitat (Finland, Lammi, Revasvuori, 1985). – Photo: Harri Harmaja. – This kind of plant yielded the deviating chromosome number 2n = 20 (Harmaja, H. & Pellinen, K. 1991: Three different chromosome numbers from Finnish Arabidopsis suecica (Brassicaceae). – Ann. Bot. Fennici 27: 335-336.) The normal number in A. suecica (Brassicaceae) is 2n = 26. The variation in morphology, growth manner, growth rhythm and habitat, observed in the species, requires detailed studies.
