Notes on Artemisia sp.

Artemisia sp. (Finland, Lammi, Hauhiala, 1992). Image: Harri Harmaja (scanned from dried specimen). This plant was found as a weed in a sugar beet field. It is closely related to the common A. vulgaris (Asteraceae), differing from the latter in that the capitulae are taller, almost globose, and somewhat nodding.
