
Phalaris arundinacea L. f. picta (L.) Asch. & Graebn. (Poaceae) (Finland, Lammi, Pappilankylä, 2004). – Image: Harri Harmaja (scanned from dried specimen). – A small stand was found by a ditch/brook through cultivated fields, near the Biological Station of the University of Helsinki. This infrequent, showy plant with variegated leaves is sometimes cultivated as ornamental.
