Poa compressa L. ssp. langeana (Rchb.) Hegi (Finland, Lohja, Hermala 1979). – Image: Harri Harmaja (scanned from dried specimen). – This is an infrequent race of P. compressa (Poaceae), differing from the main morph in that a spikelet has more flowers (4-7). It occurred scantily in an abandoned limestone quarry together with the typical race (ssp. compressa) which is common in the quarry and the intact calcareous outcrops.
