In this page, links are given to short web notes or somewhat more comprehensive articles prepared by me. The treatments are based on my observations and studies made in the field and the laboratory in the course of my roughly 50 years as botanist. Some notes show curiosities, forms or even mere modifications without definite taxonomic or other relevance, but I believe that some other pages contain taxonomic, floristic and other information that may be worthy of consideration. Attention has been focused particularly in such intraspecific variability and other items that are poorly known, poorly discussed, or even completely neglected in current treatments such as flora works. Admittedly, I have not in all cases worked out the correct nomenclature or all the literature and herbarium information available. The specimens that are presented in these web articles are now in my herbarium; they will be deposited in H. Any comments on the identity, taxonomy, nomenclature etc. of the plants treated are welcome.
